"How do find names for all your animals?" is a question my guests frequently ask. Well, Pending Storm's was about the weather conditions on the his birthday. This is the story in brief. When his mom, Felix's Peruvian Flower was showing signs of active labor I had not noticed clouds forming as we were in the field. In fact, I did not notice the darkening clouds until contractions had produced 'nose and toes' at that point all I could do was wait, all thoughts of getting mom into the barn were gone. Just as the sky became really dark he was born! I snatched up the wet floppy cria and ran to the barn with mom at my side! Voila! Pending Storm!

Pending Storm's is an Elite Legend's Ethan Progeny and thus carries genetics of Champions who are still strong and vital breeders. Also know that Storm's grandsire, Snowmass Elite Legend, is closed to outside breedings.
